Campers attending BOTH camps will receive a free tee shirt.  
Those attending both camps MUST bring a bag lunch from home to eat from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM.

Musical Theatre Camp teaches the basic aspects (voice and dance) in the preparation of a musical theatre production and also a basic history and appreciation of the musicals studied.  This year’s camp will focus on the musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Joyce Smith, Instructor
Mrs. Smith graduated from Greensboro College. She has taught elementary music in Rocky Mount, NC, Wilmington, NC, and retired from the Alamance-Burlington School System in 2007. She has worked with children and youth choirs at Mebane Presbyterian Church for 30 years, sings in the chancel choir, and plays piano for the church band.

Acting Camp teaches basic theatre techniques, including improvisation, pantomime, vocal interpretation, body movement, and audition preparedness.  Students will rehearse scenes to be performed at the conclusion of the camp.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Ed Kroliczak, Instructor
Mr. Kroliczak has been involved with community theatre for many years.  Some of his stage credits include The King and I and The Crucible with The Gallery Players and The Baker’s Wife and The Odd Couple with The Mebane Acting Company, Inc.  He has directed the drama club for Blessed Sacrament School in Burlington and has also directed for The Mebane Acting Company.  In addition, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the company.
